QuickGold for iPhone - Jailbroken iPhone app congratulations

This one's not unmatchable of explosive device, but an app successful by Zachary "zataang" Taanges really hit the spot. Exploitation the Dock 3.0 source mark as a reference, Zach created a better-looking text-based app armament named QuickGold that runs right on top of SpringBoard.
It's gettable present in Cydia (hosted by Shaun "Ste" Erickson).
This thing is groovy, good hit the Home artifact time already at the home screen and start writing what you search, then tap the conclusion that matches. So fast (even faster than Dock)!

iPhone 1.1.3 code backside the scenes changes

So I've had the accidental to study the 1.1.3 code on a deeper level (exploitation a proficiency not mature by me and which I can't release so don't address) and have detected many newsworthy changes backside the scenes that square measure quite blogworthy:
- SpringBoard no mortal needs to be altered (via SummerBoard) in order to show artefact applications in the /Applications folder.
- Every applications present run as the individual 'waterborne' instead of as root.
- Preferences square measure present stored in /var/mobile rather than in /var/root.
What does this every mean? I'll evidence you what it means.
The iPhone 1.1.3 code is preparation for trained worker installable applications.
Even though there square measure no applications gettable for leverage (besides the iPod Touch's $20 "upgrade computer code"), the start field of study appears to be there already.
It also appears that the frameworks have undergone many an changes, ostensibly to make it easier for official...
